It has peaked my interest in this dress.SandraLovesSewinghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13703660368487512913noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2269525834231698357.post-70527530231225325392015-07-15T07:42:09.704+01:002015-07-15T07:42:09.704+01:00Hi Sandra D, I thought it would give a better look...Hi Sandra D, I thought it would give a better look to the dress when it is finished, I have used a cotton lawn and the shop made bias that I had found looked a bit heavy against it. There is a limited colour palette available so I would have had to go for a contrast colour rather than trying to get a match and I hadn't found anything that I was happy with. Also it is a new skill and I like learning.classic-mini66https://www.blogger.com/profile/16185377065087310053noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2269525834231698357.post-53448103119086745412015-07-15T00:35:43.484+01:002015-07-15T00:35:43.484+01:00I can understand why you would make it yourself (e...I can understand why you would make it yourself (even though it is time consuming). The benefit is that you get it in the colour and fabric you want it to be in. Is there a wide variety of bias bindings available in the UK? It seems that our choices have become more and more limited here. I look forward to seeing the photos of your finished garment.SandraLovesSewinghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13703660368487512913noreply@blogger.com
